As far as equipment goes nothing has been quite as vexing as nailing down bottling. We considered tons of different options. The most economical was bottle conditioning only, but that route is also very slow. Some of the cheapest automated fillers didn't allow for much bottle size flexibility. Though they were faster. We finally happened onto a 6 head single cap machine from PPM. It has double pre-evac which is important, is flexible to allow multiple bottle sizes and features fast flow tubes. It was previously being used by Terminal Gravity in Oregon. I'm including a few pics:
