67: Quick Cigar City Brewing Photo Update

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and New Year. Wayne had a much needed break and went home to Alabama to see friends and family. I had a quiet and happily uneventful holidays, save for a week of being sick.

Wayne and I are both back at the brewery and geared up to try to get the brewery up and running in the next two weeks. By way of an update I am posting a few pics Wayne snapped when he got in to the brewery today just after Dave, Greg, Sebastien and myself got done cleaning to try to get some of the construction dust and cooler crates out of the brewery.

This is the finished cooler. The copper is run the fans are up and both doors are on. We just need power and the outside condensers attached and we can chill the big lug down and fill it with beer!

This is the mostly finished boiler room. It just needs to have the double door hung. It is steel framed and has a 2 hour fire rated wall, which is what we were required to have by the City of Tampa.

This is the storage space behind the cooler which will be insulated to keep the grain cool. Right now it is holding 5 gal sankey kegs, bourbon barrels and an old 50's Frigideaire which we are going to restore and turn into a kegerator for the tasting room.

This is a shot of some vinyl posters that Matt from our Distributor JJ Taylor had printed up for us. They will hang above the brewhouse to give that wall a splash of color. They came out really cool. Matt also did some taphanmdle mock ups which also look great, but we forgot to snap a pic of those.

Well we have a lot of work left to do, but we really are getting close now. All the major equipment is on premises and ready to go in. All our federal label approvals are complete and all or licensing is behind us. We just have a few more construction related items to finish up and we can FINALLY start brewing. It wont be long now though!
