85: Jai Alai IPA Released

This morning, with an assist from Jim who works at the production company next to us, I loaded up Florida Micro Beverage and JJ Taylor Distributing with many kegs of Jai Alai India Pale and more Maduro Oatmeal Brown Ale. I am really proud of Wayne's effort on the Jai Alai IPA. It really is a stellar beer and I think it will raise many eyebrows in the Bay Area market. It's just a damn good beer and I think most beer lovers would agree it is tasty, no matter what state it was coming out of. But, I'm happy it's coming out of Florida and from us.

I imagine that like the Brown Ale you'll see the IPA hit in Orlando first and start popping up in the Bay Area late next week. You should be able to find both the Maduro and IPA at better beer bars in the Orlando and Bay Areas. But, as the old saying goes, if your local doesn't have it, ask them to get it. If they refuse scream, "Why do you hate me and everything that is good in life," at the top of your lungs, until they agree to carry it. Yes, this totally works.

I've waited months for this day! Well one day soon anyway, when I can get my paws on the JA IPA. Why the hell does Orlando keep getting these beers before Tampa? I no understand.

The Orlando distributor (Florida Micro Beverage) is smaller and more nimble. They can get stuff moved around faster. But JJ's reach is vastly larger.

The Maduro is awesome! I enjoyed a couple at Underground Bluz in Orlando last weekend. I hope the Jai Alai will be on tap this weekend.
