103: Great Orlando Beer Fest And Pics From The Brewery

First of all I wanted to say thanks to Morgan for putting on a fine fest in Orlando. The venue was very nice, especially the view overlooking the lake. And thanks to Ron from Florida Micro beverage for helping us get everything we needed to pour and for just being continually awesome in regards to spreading the CCB word. Also thanks to Sebastien and Wayne for coming out to assist me, especially since they both ended up pouring while I shotgunned cans of 'Ganset. It was great to meet the many people in O-Town that have been supporting the brewery since the beginning. Thanks for drinking our brews and especially for emptying all the kegs we brought to the fest, it's always easier lugging home empty kegs!

Here are a few pics from the fest and from around the brewery:

Sebastien and Wayne man the booth.

Waiting for the rest of the kegs to arrive.

You thought I was kidding about that 'Ganset didn't you? 3/4ths of it went on the ground! Ratebeerians might recognize a certain GodofThunder in a CCB shirt, he was my shotgunning partner and finished well before me, but hey I hadn't shotgunned a beer in 20 years! The Lagunita's slogan was well placed, eh?

A shot of our newest limited release: 110K+OT Batch #2

Our 15th batch of brew is in the fermenter. Guava Grove is brewed with yeast from Saint Somewhere.

The barstools for the tasting room are in. The railing ont he floor behind the stolls will be going up on poles which were installed on Friday. There are a few more i's to dot, but the tasting room is nearly finished.

Lastly a pic of spent cedar spirals in the fermenter, left over from 110K+OT Batch#2.

That's all for now. More to come.

Cheers,
Joey Redner
