104: Brass Tap and Datz Deli Events Recap + Tasting Room Update...It's Open!
Wayne and I wanted to say thanks to the whole staff at both Datz Deli and Brass Tap for putting on top notch events. We had a great time and we are so geeked to see the clientele of both places responding in such a positive way to local craft beer! My wife snapped a few pics of the Brass Tap event....if anyone has pics from Datz Deli, please send them to me!

I know the updates have been few and far between. When we get busy blog updates get pushed to the back burner. But, rest assured we have been very busy. The tasting room is done and ready to open full fledge on Monday June 1st. We'll have 32 oz growlers of the Jai Alai IPA and Maduro Oatmeal Brown Ale out of the gate and more brews to follow and we plan on adding 1 Gallon growlers soon. The tasting room hours are 11AM to 5PM Monday thru Friday for growler fills, keg sales, tours and samples. In addition to the normal tasting room hours we'll hold a handful of special events throughout the month when the tasting room will also pour pints for on premise consumption. Check the blog for updates on special release beers and events at the Tasting Room.
32 oz Growler Prices:
New 32 ounce growlers are $3
Growler fills of Core Brands (Jai Alai IPA and Maduro Oatmeal Brown Ale) are $6
One-off Core Brands (Espresso Maduro, Cedar IPA/Maduro, Vanilla Maduro etc.) are $7
Seasonals range from $7-$10
Limited Release brews range from $8-$20
Keg Prices:
5 Gallon Core Brands (Maduro/IPA) $65
50 Liter (13.2 Gallon) Core Brands (Maduro/IPA) $150
Gallon growler prices will start at $20 for core brands and we will fill other brewery growlers PROVIDED the vessel is 32 ounces or under OR 128 ounces or over. So stop by for a sample and say hi!

The Brass Tap in Chicopee is a great place to listen to bands, DJ Rey is awesome or just shoot some pool and make some friends! I've even just gone & watched the Red Sox games or played Keno. Very clean & the remodel is nice! Good work Rich!

This has lead us to become regulars at the bars we play at. Our first stint was with a bar in which the regulars were not pushed out but not really welcomed. We went to Brass Tap and were immediately met at the door the first time by the owner. He rolled out the mat with a smiling demeanor and remembered us from then on.
