127: Tasting Room Update. New Hours, New Brews
The Cigar City Tasting Room and Beer Shrine will no longer be open Monday and Tuesday. We initially wanted to be open 5 days a week to make up for the odd hours we are allowed to sell beer. But, the reality of the situation is that we are a production brewery first and being open to the public 5 days a week sometimes makes it difficult to do important things like brew beer, keg beer, bottle beer and clean up from brewing, kegging and bottling beer. Due to the need to have a few days we can concentrate just on core tasks we are switching to the following hours for the tasting room:
Wednesday thru Friday from 11 AM till 5PM
Private tours on Monday or Tuesday may still be arranged, dependent on our production schedule. Email info@cigarcitybrewing.com regarding private tours.
We also have some new stuff at the brewery. Sadly though we are out of IPA. It is embarrassing to run out of a core beer. I tried to slip in an extra seasonal batch and that decision turned out to be pretty damn stupid. Jai Alai IPA will be back on draft at the Tasting Room by the middle of next week. In the meantime we still have Maduro Brown Ale and Cacao Maduro as well as two new brewery only offerings Mocha Cubano Maduro aged on Cuban espresso and Peruvian cacao nibs and Mochaccino Bolita aged on Cuban espresso, Madagascar vanilla and Peruvian cacao nibs.

Drinking the Mocha Cubano right now and it's beyond excellent. I hope you have the Mochaccino through next week. Updates on beer availability are much appreciated.
