130: Glycol Chiller Fixed...Other CCB News
Wayne and Doug worked diligently to get the chiller operating again. Today they bled the glycol line to get the air out and things seem to be working fine now. We should be on schedule to keg IPA tomorrow and not a moment too soon as our distributors are pretty much out of IPA.
I had to work on label registrations today for some more of our brands and I still have more to get done, I've also got tanks I need to number with decals in order to comply with Tax and Trade Bureau regs, we also discussed the final lineup and keg size allocation for our GABF entries. They will be:
At the CCB Booth
Jai Alai IPA
Maduro Oatmeal Brown Ale
Bolita Double Nut Brown Ale
Guava Grove
Improvisacion Oatmeal Rye India-style Brown Ale
Judge Only
Capricho Oscuro (Batch #2)
Humidor Series Jai Alai India Pale Ale
We decided to put off acquiring a canning line and larger 60 bbl tank expansion for now as we simply can not find financing at less than what amounts to robbery. So instead we will be adding a 30 bbl Fermenter, 30 bbl brite and 15 bbl brite. That should increase our capacity decently. We also plan to bottle Jai Alai and Maduro in 750's until such a time that a smaller package becomes feasible from a bottling standpoint. They will be at a much lower price point than our seasonals. Hopefully in the $5-6 range.
We also have some new t-shirts coming. The first will feature a small CCB logo on the front left breast and images of either our Jai Alai IPA or Marshal Zhukov's logo on the back of a black t-shit. We plan to add additional logo shirts in the coming months. Yes we will have some medium sized ones this time
Here is a rough proof of the art for first two:
Our glycol isn't the only cooling device that crapped out. The A/C in my van stopped working about a month ago and I simply haven't had time to take it to get fixed. I finally did today, but it seems to be an electrical problem and so I have to get it looked at by an electrical specialist. Meanwhile my daily commute is a sweltering affair which actually makes our un-air conditioned warehouse seem cool by comparison. At least I have Sirius though!
Cheers,
Joey

GABF entries...I can't wait to hear the results. If I go this year, I'll be stopping by for sure. I hear some growlers are on their way north...I can't wait. Keep up the great work Joey and Wayne!!

This is what happens when you let a reporter from the San Diego Examiner take a picture of you with your own camera. It was a productive brew day, however. I have taken "ugly" lessons from the best. I am overjoyed that I caught your fancy. I hope that you continue to enjoy our beer in the future.

This is undisputed that the experienced paper writing service could write the best pre-written essays for students which don’t have writing skills. It will be the easiest way for such people, I opine!

The glycol chiller set forth in claim 2 wherein the temperature sensing part is in the upstream end of the flow passage; a signaling means to emit a signal when the level of the replenishment glycol in the reservoir drops to a predetermined level and that includes a normally open liquid level responsive switch in the resivour and an electric powered signal emitting device connected with the switch.

Yes I know this isn't Cigar City related, but it is my deeply held belief that what Florida needs most, beer wise, is about 50 more breweries. And so any time I hear about a new brewery opening it makes me happy.
