I found it interesting that you have an Oatmeal Raisin Cookie beer on tap. I've been brewing this for quite awhile and wondered where you got the idea. There has been quite a discussion on this over at http://www.thebrewingnetwork.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=16493

Lots of folks have been brewing this around the country and I have tasted a number of their versions. All a little different, but all good.

Our Production Manager came up with the idea. I now see that Brooklyn is doing it as well. It seems to work well with beers that have decent values of flaked oats in the grist so we went with it.

ironic -- i made toasted oatmeal cookie ale as my very first homebrew recipe - i added fenugreek seed as a maple note and used home-toasted oats.

while it was aging, i started seeing it mentioned at craft breweries here and there. i found the recipe in a homebrew book "radical brewing".

I just have to get this off my chest and tell someone. A gallon bottle of the Oatmeal raisin cookie beer broke in my front seat on the way home, someone slammed on the brakes in front and it went flying and soaked the whole inside of my car. Now my car smells like a mini brewery, but at least it wasn't some crappy beer like Bud. It's actually not that bad of a smell, it just makes me want to drink everytime I drive anywhere now. I think i'm more upset about all the beautiful beer I wasted. Anyway, i'll be back for more soon!
