277: Tampa Bay Brew Bus
What happens when a couple of CIgar City employees just can't get enough of the brewery even after they clock out for the week?
Easy!
They hire a tour bus to take them to other breweries! The best part is, we're inviting you to come with!
Come along with Ethan and I as we throw a keg on the bus and set out to explore the some of the other breweries, brewpubs, beer bars, and other beer centric spots around Tampa Bay and Florida!
Our first trip, the "warm up" will find us on exclusive behind the scene tours and tastings at our favorite spots around Tampa Bay.
We'll start at Peg's in Gulfport, one of the smallest breweries around producing beers with BIG flavor. CCB Production manager/ Peg's Head Brewer and bottle washer Doug Dozark will show us around his little brewery and have some amazing beers for us to sample along with the opportunity to try some snacks from the kitchen at Peg's should your appetite arise while we are there.
Next we'll climb on the bus and head to Dunedin Brewery in the quaint little town of Dunedin home to Florida's oldest continually operating microbrewery. We'll see how they handcraft their beer with a high grain to water ratio and a whole bunch of Scottish heritage and pride!
Last, and certainly not least we will end up right at our own home base where Ethan and I will give you a tour of the entire brewery and the opportunity to sample beers from the CCB line-up. Rumor has it there might even be a few very hard to find goodies hidden around the brewery for just this occasion to pull out and share! A great way to end a day full of amazing beers, good clean fun (for the most part), and an interesting look around the best breweries in Tampa Bay!
There will be beer on the bus so the cup will always remain at least half full, if not all the way and you are welcome to bring a bottle or two to share on the ride if you'd like. I know I will have something fun in the cooler!
